James Carter, one of the Interpretation Consultants we worked with on the Argyll Mausoleum project recently lead a seminar in Rome as part of the ICCROM’s Conservation of Built Heritage course. ICCROM is the UNESCO body concerned with heritage conservation.
James had a very interesting group: 19 people from 19 different countries, including Afghanistan and Latvia and used the Argyll Mausoleum project as an exemplar of how interpretation can be successfully integrated with architecture and access management.
