Our client, TRACKS (The Rural Access Committee of Kinross-shire), have won the Kinross-shire Civic Trust Architecture Award for the two structures we designed and delivered as part of the Loch Leven Heritage trail.

The judges noted:  “The bird hide and the Loch Leven viewpoint by Icosis Architects, sited on the loch Leven footpath are practical, useful and sensitively designed structures.  The commendation recognises the tenacity with which the client body worked away to stitch together the path necklace which now so successfully circumnavigates the loch and then commissioned these two fine structures from Icosis architects.  Although they are several miles apart the structures are recognisably from the same hand using a palette of materials that sit well in the wider landscape context.“
