Windsor Place, Edinburgh

2008

This project sought to create a living space with attached studio from an existing large studio space allowing the clients to work from home. The work involved the removal of various additions to allow the original form to become visible again, and the like-for-like replacement of existing elements requiring upgrading, such as the metal framed windows.

The removals allowed for a new external living area, shaded by external louvres, which help reduce prevent over heating of the main rooms in the summer months.

The interior features a number of bespoke concrete castings by gray concrete
